Back Into the Swing of Things

It's always so hard for me to just sit down and start blogging again after taking a break, and this time that break from blogging was a bit of a long one.  Sorry about that!  I hope you all had a blessed and wonderful Christmas and New Years, we sure did!

So here it is on a sunny Wednesday afternoon and I'm finally sitting down to a pile of laundry that needs to be folded since I took a break from that for a week (I'm not sure if that was the best idea), I have a fussy baby who was spoiled by Papa and Grandma and now thinks she deserves to be held all the time and I'm trying to manage 2 computers and 2 cameras (!!!)  and figure them all out so I can blog about everything that's been going on. 

We celebrated my birthday and I'm sad to say that I've reached the age (at least for me) that it's just not that exciting anymore and I would rather the day not come because I'm just getting older, boo!  ;)  Then my parents flew in on Christmas night to stay with us for a week and we had such a wonderful time with them.  And the projects around the house have slowly but surely been moving forwards, and we rang in the New Year with some organization... literally.
