Warmer Than You

That's right!  I have to say it while I can, because this may be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity  that I can proclaim this amazing truth.

Our weather is was warmer than yours!

Yep, you heard correctly all you So Cal family and friends.  Our weather this weekends was bea-u-ti-ful!  Warm!  With no bugs... yet!  And it was warmer than your weather was!

My dad called me Sunday afternoon and the first words out of his mouth were, "I thought I'd call and let you gloat!" 

Needless to say we've been taking advantage of this great weather and getting outside.

Our favorite part of the day is when dad gets home (well that's always been our favorite part of the day) but now we all go on a family walk together in the evenings!  We walk around the cul-de-sacs and then down and around and back up the hill.  It makes for a good walk for everyone!

The other great thing, and probably odd to most of you, we are finally seeing our neighbors again.  It's like everyone is coming out of hibernation.  Yeah, we pretty much don't see anyone during the winter other than them driving to and from their houses.  You just don't get outside much in the winter here because its so cold and you especially don't go outside much up here on the hill, it's already bitter cold and then you add our never ending wind and its just crazy. 

Lets just say you learn to appreciate and take advantage of the good weather when you get it, and that's exactly what we've been doing!
