Well, because things go from new to used so quickly around here I decided I'd buy a new but already broke in dining room table for a very nice discounted price. If we buy it already broken in then it won't be a big deal when we add our own nicks and scratched to it!
It was fun to get out our dining room table, it was like seeing it for the first time. We had sold our other dining room table and chairs after I went looking for a couch at our discount furniture store and found the 'perfect' table instead. To my delight the table had a nice scratch on it already so it was even further marked down, score! But they wanted 100 bucks for each chair,
no way!? So we just purchased the table, wrapped it up and put it in storage, went home and put ours up for sale and sold it for more than we purchased our new table for and now I finally get to get it out of storage and see how it looks with everything else! Now that the floor is finished we can start bringing in our large furniture items and start transitioning from temporary construction zone living into home.
