A quiet day on the home front on the Fourth of July this year.  Nate worked and the kids and I got ready for our camping trip.  An early night in bed for the kids because it was going to be an early morning to head out.

After 8+ hours in the car we made it to South Dakota and set up camp on a beautiful lake in the Mountains!!

We spent a good portion of our day at Mt. Rushmore and enjoying the beauty of the mountains!

HAPPY 1st BIRTHDAY to JANESSA!!!
Apparently we like to have unusual 1st birthday celebrations with our baby girls, and this was no exception.

An unexpected extension to our camping trip but a much anticipated and enjoyed trip on the Black Hills Railroad, the kids loved the train ride!
