Re-Painting the Bathroom

(written before baby was born)

Yep, that's right.  I know, the hubs was real thrilled when I came up with the idea to re-paint the kids bathroom. 

I should have known!!  I really should have.

I said it before when I re-painted the Sunroom with Emily.

Yellow is just too colorful for me.

The kids bathroom was also yellow, and the yellow needed to go.   

I need neutral, earthy colors.  At least on the walls.

SO, thankfully we had a friend who was willing to come over and paint it for us since we've had a lot of other projects going on around the house and didn't have time to paint the bathroom ourselves anytime soon.

And can I just say that I adore the new color!  It's so beautiful with the white vanity and it made everything come together so much better!  All the fixtures stand out instead of being an eyesore next to the yellow.  All around it was a much better change!

The color is a dark grey.  In the pictures it looks more green than it really is.  Just so you know. 

I'm happy with it and don't see the color on the walls changing and I know the hubby appreciates that!

Oh and yes, this is totally a by product of nesting.  And another item that was knocked off the 'to do' list... it was a long list...
