If you've read our family blog for a while now then you've probably heard me talk about our decision to go as a family to do our grocery shopping.
This started when Nathan and I were first married. We always went together, we pretty much did whatever we could together to get time with one another, since from the beginning of our marriage we were serving at a christian camp and time together was very limited.
Nothing changed once we started our family.
I've asked Nathan if it's something he would like me to do during the day but he's always wanted to do it together. And thankfully he's great with money and finding deals. So he enjoys the hunt.
Funny, now that I think about it, my dad has always done a lot of the grocery shopping as well, always the one searching for deals.
Our kids enjoy going with us as well, helping get the items we need and there are many opportunities to learn life lessons.
All in all we try to make our trips enjoyable, although sometimes shopping in Minot can be difficult with the amount of people shopping and the lack of workers present. If you live here you know what I mean.
And I just thought it would be fun to catch some of our normal weekly routines through the lens of the camera. I think it's easy to skip over things like this, but I know I'll enjoy looking back with all our littles in tow on our shopping trips and miss those days. So I'll capture them now and also enjoy them!
