The Ultimate Vacation: Part 5 (Mudd Family)

It had been a long two years since Nathan had last seen his family.  I had the privilege to meet up with them a couple different times over those past two years but Nate had been home building our house.  So it was about time that he got to see his family!  This was a much awaited part of our trip!

A little over half way through our trip we finally headed down to San Diego to spend a few days with Nate's family.  At the end of our time with them we all headed back up to Oceanside for a big Mudd family day at the beach. 

We had such a great time while we were there.  Zeke, Kenzie and Janessa had so much fun playing with their cousins and we even got to have a fun night out with Nate and his siblings and their spouses, it was the first time for us all to hang out together like that without our kiddos.  Although, like the rest of our trip, the time we spent with them was too short but very blessed and fun.

Then we had a couples night out with Nate's siblings and their spouses.

The brothers got a game of pool on while we waited for our time to go bowling.





Bowling wasn't the first option so none of us had socks.  Thanks to Sean and Misty who ran to the store to buy some, we all sported these awesome socks for bowling.

Then we called it an early night and headed home to save Oma and Opa from all the crying kiddos.

Wednesday morning before we headed back up to Oceanside everyone came over for a brunch and a Mudd family jam session.  Fun times!

We ended the night off with a game before we had to say our good byes to the Mudd family.  We had such an awesome time with our family and cousins.  We sure look forward to our next visit!
