Saturday Workday
Saturday turned out warm, sunny and beautiful... a great day to get more work done on the house! Once again we were blessed with much help! Dwight, Darek, Ian, Bob, and Orrin all came out to help us with the house, they were able to get the soffit finished along the back of the house (a very time consuming project that involves lots of measuring and cutting), sheetrock backing inside the house, and electrical: installing the meter socket and main breaker panels and getting the service entry wire from the meter socket to the main breaker panel. A lot of good jobs accomplished, thanks guys!

ReplyDeleteAngela, I'm excited also, knowing we're getting closer! We did design the house. I wouldn't normally chose the style we did, split foyer, because I am not a huge fan of the way it looks (from the outside), but we could only afford to build a one story with a basement (which can be left unfinished for now and gives us room to grow into later). And I don't like basements so I wanted one that at least allowed me bigger windows which you get with a split foyer. We designed the layout and house with help from Nate's boss.
