We started today!!! I can hardly contain my happiness, especially after seeing how far along our neighbor is on their home. We headed out to the property this morning and met Nathan's bosses. They helped us decide on the location of the house on the property (which to my great dismay was harder than initially anticipated because our neighbor decided to butt their house up as close to our property line as they could, even though they had over 2 acres, mostly flat, to choose from!!) and staked it out then surveyed the house so we are ready to dig... as soon as the backhoe is out of the shop!!

I tried to take a 360 panoramic shot from a point on the bluff of our property so you get some idea of our view... (and you can see some of the flooding, normally it's just a river down in the valley not a lake) |
And we are on day 4 of the chickenpox for Zeke, he's covered, poor guy! And still no signs of them on McKenzie. We're really hoping they'll show up soon so we don't drag this out any longer than it needs to. He seemed to do a little better today, although he looks pretty bad.
