Master Bedroom Tour

Well, it's been a while since I've shown off some of the rooms in our house.  So it's about time I got back to it.

Here is our Master Bedroom.  Although it's one of our most finished spaces as far as decorating goes, I still feel like there is so much more that I would like to do with that space.  I am a huge fan of making the Master Bedroom a haven for the couple.  A restful and relaxing place to come together at the end of a long day and catch up and find rest and retreat.

I always love decorating the Master Bedroom and finding ways to make it inviting and pretty.  Here's what I've done with the room thus far.

Originally the whole room was painted blue, once I saw the chocolate brown wall in our dining room I decided to use the same color as an accent wall in our bedroom.

This basket I found at Target, it fits perfectly underneath and holds our pillows that we sleep with.



A shimmery beautiful bed skirt that my mom found at Goodwill for me for a couple bucks, score!

Right now, until our basement is finished, we have the tv in our room behind the cabinet doors.  Same with the exercise machine, once I have room in the basement for it I'll switch in out with a comfy chair.

Hopefully I'll have a beautiful large mirror for this wall, eventually.

I finally decided to go with a ceiling fan for the bedroom, I went back and forth for a while but I think it's the smarter decision.  It's one of the few light fixtures put up in our home.

Our awesome headboard that my mom found through Craigslist and one of the things they brought up in the trailer last summer.  We just need to put it up higher on the wall so you can actually see it.

Still work to be done but it's coming together and I'm happy with where it's at.  I hope you enjoyed your tour of another room in our home.
