Our School Work Has Arrived!!

Let the school year begin!  After vacation that is.  But our school work for the 2012- 2013 school year has arrived and we're all a bit excited! 

I've made the decision to try and homeschool Zeke and Kenzie at the same time and start them on the same level.  We'll just take it day by day and see how it goes but if I can knock out two birds with one stone that would be great!

I've done some research and thanks to a friend who has little ones close in age to mine, she recommended Christ Centered Curriculum.  She's used the curriculum and really liked their program for young ones.  I checked it out and was really happy with it.  I'll learn more as I really sit down to prepare for the upcoming school year but I'm glad I made this choice.

Teach Your Child To Read in 100 Easy Lessons.

I had known I would use this book for a long time.  You will hear great reviews of this book from many, many homeschool moms.  But I also had heard that you needed a good Phonics program to go along with it.  That's where Christ Centered Phonics came in.

A is for Adam: the Gospel from Genesis by Ken Ham

This I don't have much info on but my mom sent it and I love a lot of the materials from Ken Ham!  I'll give a review once we've gone through it.

So there's the tally!  We're excited about our new beginning and adventure that the Lord is bringing us through!
