Incredible!

Okay, I had SO many options on what to name this post:

Amazing

What A Week

Answered Prayer

Humbled

Incredible Friends

Unbelievable

Beyond Thankful

Sheetrock is Done

I Can't Believe It

Where do I begin?  What an emotional week.  It started Friday evening when Nathan got the okay from the inspector to start sheetrock.  That evening he went to Menards and bought enough sheetrock for the ceilings.  Brian and Darek came and helped prep the ceiling with vapor barrier so it would be all ready to start sheetrocking the next morning.  Saturday was a busy day from start to finish.  That morning Darek came back to help, he left around noon and when Nate got back to the house after lunch Layne, Leighton, Curtis and Seth where there ready to help.  They finished up around 7pm and Nate got a call from Carson while he was home for dinner and he offered to help that evening so Nate headed back up with Trevor and they worked late into the night.

We had been hoping that Nate could get this week off from work so he would be able to work on the sheetrock and get it done before this coming weekend when we had the taper and muder guy set to come.  Well Monday rolled around and his boss couldn't spare him from work, not only that but they were headed to Harvey for the next few days to get a project done there.  Harvey is a little over an hours drive from here.  Great.  Now, not only was he not going to get time off work to get a lot of work accomplished, he wasn't going to get hardly anything done because of the extra drive time from working out of town.  There were some other things that happened, I won't go into detail, but Nathan's plate is full and he's being pulled in many different directions and has demands on him from many angles.  Well Monday seemed to be the 'day of bad news' day and it seemed to only get worse.  That night we found out that now they were going to stay the night Tuesday in Harvey to get the work done.  Nathan pulled an all nighter Monday night, yes, he was awake for 36 hours and not only just awake but working manual labor for 36 hours which at the end required him to be working on a roof!  eek!  Let me just say I was one praying lady that day!

Well, here is the amazing part!  Tuesday morning who showed up at our house but Bob, Trevor, Layne, Leighton, Curtis and Seth to put a full days work in putting up sheetrock for us!  What?!  It get's better!  Our dear friends, the Seavey's who recently moved 3 hours away, called and said they were headed to Minot so Tim could help us sheetrock on Wednesday.  SO, who was at our house Wednesday?  Everyone came back for another full days work!  All while Nathan was working in Harvey.

AND THEY FINISHED!!!

I'm in tears as I write this.  I am so humbled and blessed and blown away!  We have such amazing friends who are willing to sacrifice their time and come help and serve our family.  How do we even begin to say thank you?!  How do we even begin to express our gratitude?!  We could not have gotten it done without them.

The Lord heard your faithful prayers on our behalf!  Thank you friends who were praying for us!  That blesses us more than you know, and we were in great need of prayer this week as a lot of things have taken place.

And, get this, we had a record high temperature yesterday!  Ummm, wow!  There could be snow already on the ground but we haven't even had much rain and the weather has been warm!  Another answer to prayer that is allowing us to get so much done.

The Lord has everything under control, as He always does no matter our situation.  Nathan was given today and tomorrow off from work, another blessing and answer to prayer and is hoping to get the garage floor ready to be poured, if not poured too.

The taper and muder guy comes Monday to do his job next week.  And while that's being worked on we'll hopefully get the garage finished up, stairs built from the mud room to the garage and a deck built from our slider and the railing finished.  Then we'll finish up the little bit of plumbing and electrical after the house has been textured and get a sink and toilet in and get the inspectors out to hopefully give the okay and then we can move in.  There is light at the end of our tunnel to hopefully be able to move into the house in about 3 weeks!  That will put us at exactly 6 months of camper living.  What a summer it's been.  Our road to being finished with the house is far from over, but being a homeowner one is never finished I think.  We are moving into a very bare house but that is okay with us!

The demand is to get us into the house and out of the camper before the cold weather hits us!  And to be together again as a family.  We will continue our work, this time together and at a slower pace.

Please, continue to pray for us.  The time away from Nathan is taking a toll on our kids and Nathan is dealing with a lot right now trying to get the house ready for us to move into and with his job.

Here are some photos of the last few days and our sheetrocked house!

Also, the septic was finished, inspected and passed and getting filled back in today (Wednesday)

Tuesday the Seavey's and Nelson's came with all their kiddos to hang out for the afternoon!

THANKS EVERYONE FOR ALL YOUR HELP!  YOU HAVE BLESSED US BEYOND WORDS!
