We received another blessing this past Sunday. There has been so much going on, building our house amidst rain and other projects requiring time from Nathan and the crew, getting to the end of my pregnancy, waiting for Janessa's arrival and then the flood, concern now for friends and their homes and livelihood, not sure if we could get to the hospital if Janessa came, the river rising at the Paulson's house and not being sure if we should move or stay, and then beginning to feel a little cooped up in the camper, not to mention I couldn't just go into town to 'get out' considering the major flooding taking place. To say the least I was beginning to feel a little claustrophobic. This past Sunday, we didn't get together with our church families, we had our own family worship in the camper but by the afternoon I was quite restless. I can hardly express my joy when Sheryll came and knocked on our door saying the Seavey's had invited us over for a little picnic and fellowship. Right now Minot is under a 'boil order' because the water has been contaminated so the Seavey's cooked up some hotdogs with chips and bottled water and we enjoyed a wonderful evening sitting on the deck enjoying the beautiful weather (and lack of misquotes due to not being so close to water) and watched the kids run and play freely for a few hours. It was such a blessing to me and my soul was refreshed! I didn't take pictures until the end but here are a couple from the evening. Thanks Seavey Family and Paulson Family for a wonderful evening!
