What a Great Week!! All Glory to God!!

Wow!  It has been an amazing week!  So much was accomplished.  It is hard to believe that on Sunday there was nothing but stakes on our property outlining our house and now by Friday our footings have been poured!  We are so grateful to be living right down the road and it makes it so easy to drive over to the property and take pictures and watch the progress.  The kids have loved watching Daddy build their new house and we know everybody on Nathan's crew so it's like seeing their friends every time we go over to the property.

Monday, Bob started digging for our house and he finished Tuesday evening. 
Wednesday our first load of materials were dropped off at the property.
Thursday when we headed over to take pictures mid afternoon the place felt like a real job site for the first time.  The crew was there and they had brought over the job trailer, forklift, bobcat and the rest of the materials needed for the structure of the house.  The crew began building the footings on Thursday afternoon and today they finished and poured the concrete for the footings.  Our house has been started!!

They were trying to get it done before the storm came, and they did!

We also added a porch to the front of our house, I'm not sure why we didn't do this in the first place knowing how our weather is in North Dakota!

It's been a good week, a lot was accomplished!  We are SO grateful for all those who helped, and for the Lord directing our steps!!
