We just had our second blizzard of the month, a little over a week ago our first blizzard of the month snuck up on us and Nathan barely made it home from work, come to find out that nearly 800 people were stranded across ND and the National Guard was sent out. This one we were more prepared for and Nathan spent 2 hours shoveling us out this morning after a fresh 12 in. of snow covered our world outside! So while we were stuck inside and desperately wishing that spring and summer weather would come I came up with the brilliant idea (well we'll see) to start a blog to keep everyone updated with our building progress, family and anything else I suppose I feel like writing about. : )
So this starts our Mudd Family Blog!
And I tried to get you up to date with where we're at and now I can post on a regular basis, I hope. I'm excited about blogging, even though I've never done this before, so just bear with me as I figure everything out, especially the technical part of this blog.
We've been slowly packing up the house, trying to get as much in storage as soon as possible, especially since I'm still in my second trimester and feeling well and we want to be ready for when everything official is settled and Nathan can start working on building our new home! We closed on our land on the 10th of March, we've got our paperwork in for our construction loan, just waiting for the appraisal and we just got our permit on the 21st! I keep checking our e-mail in hopes to get our new address, but we're also still waiting on that.
We're so excited that McKenzie's tear duct stent was removed this month, Praise be to the Lord! And her eye looks great!
